Is it possible to have two icecast servers which have each other configured as a master relay server? Will the world implode if I attempt to configure this?
Reason being: I have a network of several icecast servers which works great for listeners, but I currently have a single server which all the source clients connect to.
Ideally each icecast server would serve up it's local mountpoints if the source was connected there, but otherwise go try the other relay servers... then I could use some intelligent DNS to control which server the source clients connect to and distribute them across multiple servers.
I haven't tried this yet as I only have one test server currently but figured I would ask here first to see if it will work or not.
