two questions, can a person using windows feed live to my icecast server on a debian vps?
2nd question, my vps has 64 megs of ram allocated right now, about how many listeners will i be able to safely support? |

1. yes, if the network allows.
2. unknown, RAM is not a significant factor for listener limits, swap and configuration can distort the figures, many thousands though.

oh, so as long as the vps is on a nice 100mbit connection i should be fine for 100 - 200 listeners, there is 64 ram and 64 swap allocated to my vps, so im hoping i can get that many and as long as its only a couple hour event once a month i dont have to worry about exceeding bandwidth limits! |
