Hello,
I' m French so i' m sorry for my bad language. I know there is a french section on this forum but i think i' ve more chance to get any answer here...
So, i' ve installed, configured a Icecast Server. It stream properly from Winamp or others source in Ogg format. No problem.
As requested, i' ve instaled the last Lame bundle to be able to stream in MP3 format. I think all is OK because the lame encoder appears in the encoder list (in Winamp for exemple, with the Oddcast VST, or with OddCast standAlone app.), but how listen this stream ? ? ?
Indeed, the adress given is with a ".ogg" extension so winamp or itunes can' t play anything.... |

a general rule would be, end the mountpoint in an extension suitable for the format, eg .ogg for ogg streams, .mp3 for mp3 streams, .aac for aac streams. mp3 can be used without an extension though.
