Hello, I have been having issues with streamtranscoder where my mp3 streams (having been transcoded from ogg) begin to get randomly distorted after a couple days. Restarting the streamtranscoder process fixes the problem but obviously kicks all the listeners. My first thought was to schedule a job that will restart the streamtranscoder process every night, but this would mean kicking listeners.

My question is this.. can I automate the moving of listeners? I'm thinking I could start a temporary streamtranscoder process, move the listeners over, restart the main streamtranscoder and then move the listeners back? Is there some way to move all listeners from mountpoint A to mountpoint B from the command line?

why not use the fallback mechanism, start another ST on another mountpoint which is a fallback of the existing ST mountpoint, then restart the original ST. The fallback mountpoint doesn't have to come from ST of course but that choice is up to you.
