after laborious testing here's the point :
the problem is taht the winamp plugin is disconnecting of icecast or at least stop working as soon as there is no more active session ( RDP or console ) on the computer.
Any ideas to bypass this prbleme ?

I've had no end of trouble using RDP or Remote Desktop Connection in an audio streaming environment. First of all there are options in RDP to route sound output on the remote machine to the local client which essentially captures output from the windows mixer I believe. You could try disabling that option before you make the connection to the remote host.

The second issue I ran into is that RDP is more like a new login session to the remote host where many users can login at the same time. It places many more restrictions on access to devices and services. Tools like VNC or radmin are more like a window into the currently logged-in user's session as if you're sharing one desktop. I've had much better success with these kinds of tools. Hope this helps you.
