Hi,
I'm trying to create a streaming video channel with icecast but I've ran into a few difficulties. I was able to get it to stream with win32 onto a seperate server following the ffmpeg2theora and ezstream advice, but whenever I'd watch it from VLC on a seperate machine it would show me 3 seconds video with sound and then freezeframe it. I then could stop the play and start the stream again and it'd play. I'm not sure if this was because the video was too large to stream or else the server couldn't handle it or it's just a glitch with VLC etc.
Now I'm trying to do the same under linux and I run into this problem,
Streaming food.avi
Opening file (food.avi)
Songinfo is (food)
Unknown format OGG, passing right on through!
Input #0, avi, from 'food.avi':
Duration: 01:28:55.0, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 548 kb/s
Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg4, yuv420p, 368x208, 29.98 fps
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp3, 48000 Hz, stereo, 64 kb/s
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.18/1 Frame Aspect Ratio: 1.77/1
Resize: 368x208 => 192x128
Resample: 48000Hz => 44100Hz

It just repeats that over and over again, rather than actually streaming. Any advice on how to do this ? |
