I think this only this only happen when i play ogg files encoded at 128k (quality 4). I have another ices running with files encoded at quality 1 and its ok.
I've noticed too this problem is with ices. It can be something with buffer?
Thanks |

That message occurs at the front end of ices2, not the encoder part. When reading from files, the data rate has to be regulated by sleeping at regular intervals. This message occurs because one of those sleeps is so huge that it is obviously wrong. The usual trigger for something like this is a clock change.

You say CPU clock?. How to fix it? I run the ices and icecast in a dedicated server.
I dont have access to hardware setup. Any parameter on ices i can get better that?

Just to complement, when this happen i get a HUGE buffering and the stream stops. So i need to restart the ices2 again . This happen after 30~45 minutes after i start the ices.

you'll have to check your setup, is the clock updated at regular intervals (eg rdate/ntp etc), does this always occur on the same files etc.

Hello, this is my ices2 log just when this happened.
It can be my music.ogg corrupted or the file might have some problem when it was encoded?
The problem started at 16:47:25 according with the log.

Well the corrupt message is more severe, definitely check the file
/home/audiogrooves/audiogrooves_SOUL/ogg/e.deepATpressureradio(04oct2005).ogg
Also notice the timestamps as well, they should match up with the duration of the files.
