Hi everybody,
Maybe I'm missing some important part of the documents but can't make icecast run, always says: Could not create listener socket on port 8000.....
I have tried with Linux (2 distros) and now Open BSD with exactly same result
So, now I post my icecast.xml file to see if someone can find an error or if it is ok I shuld start to check something else.

This is almost guaranteed to mean that something is already running on port 8000.
Solutions: 1) stop whatever is running there, then start icecast. 2) Configure icecast to use a different port (there's nothing special about 8000, so using some other port is fine). |
