I would say im atleast an amaetuer level when it come to linux, but theres always a lots to learn.

Good new is, I did get my station up, and running. Its pretty cool. So i accomplished phase 1 of my big project.

Heres what i want to do: and i need advice on what to do about it.

I want every "listener" to be on their own personlized station. While they are listening to the song they can either rate it "Like" or "Dislike" and choose to "Skip" the song, and begin the next song.
of course, i plan on doing a lot of that with flash, but i need the backend to work properly first.

So in order to do this, do i just need to make it to where every "Listener" has their own Mountpoint? or their own source?... see this is where i am getting confused.

icecast is mainly for multiple listeners to hear the same content, if you want to limit each mountpoint to 1 listeners and provide some sort of feedback to the source client you can but that is beyond the scope of icecast
