Icecast Streaming Media Server

The Icecast YP station directory is currently listing stations that are only using Ogg Vorbis audio. ( No MP3, AAC, NSV or Theora stations are being listed. )

Is this a YP issue or a policy change by Xiph ?

Policy change. Omitting Theora is probably a bug.

Will the Icecast Media server still continue to support the Shoutcast and NSV protocol, or will that be phased out as well ?

We don't intend to remove existing features.

As before, we won't officially provide support for non-free codecs - if they work, fine. That's never been any different.
