Hello,
i am running icecast 2 (with ices 0.4) on Linux.
When a DJ is about to start his broadcast (with Sams for example ) he has to kill the ices first und then connect to the icecast-server. This is technically no problem but takes some time.
In these maybe 20 seconds the mountpoint disappears completely and forces all the listeners to re-connect to the stream. This is not very comfortable.
I did not find out yet how to make this change more smooth so the listeners dont have to do the re-connect.
Does anybody knows help? Thanks in advance. |

The mechanism you want is fallback-mount, with fallback-override enabled.
