|
|
Hi guys,
I desperatly need your help, i run a small student restricted service licence radio station and we're trying to sort out our online licencing with PPL.
They require -
All users IP's and how long they were connected for
Total amount of 'connected' time (worked out from the above)
The only Icecast log i can find on our server is the one which states the file requests - ie, the IP and when the user logged on, i need a log which displays the time the user logged off also.
How is this possible with icecast? Or am i going to have to find an alternative streaming solution?
Thanks |

In that log, the last field on each line is the number of seconds that the user was connected for.

I've found one called Sawmill - does exactly what we want and as we only need it once - to process the logs for PPL, we can live with installing a 30 day trial version.... |

The PPL are such a pain in the arse. What licence are you using? |

Internet Radio Licence (the only current one) and RSL FM licence from PPL
LOEL for online, RSL FM from MCPS-PRS
and
FM licence from Ofcom
comes to around £6,500 or so.... |
