Elo,
I've installed on Debian the server Icecast2 (v 2.2.0),
and configure the file icecast.xml by changing password and security.
2 pbs :
- when i launch this cmd : su -c 'icecast2 -c /etc/icecast2/icecast.xml'
i've this :
Quote: |
Changed root successfully to "/usr/share/icecast2".
Changed groupid to 65534.
Changed userid to 1000.
FATAL: could not open error logging (/var/log/icecast2/error.log): No such file or directory
FATAL: could not open access logging (/var/log/icecast2/access.log): No such file or directory
FATAL: Could not start logging |
Egual pb if i connect in root and i run the comand icecast2 -c /etc/icecast2/icecast.xml.
why ?
-2- Who's owner of 2 files log, error and access ? |

looks like there is a permission problem (or it does not exist) with:
/var/log/icecast2/
/var/log/icecast2/ should have read and write permissions for gid 65534 or uid 1000 |
