After looking for aroound 45 minutes, I have found little on the topic of playlist 'next song' information. Maybe I have been looking in the wrong places, but have not found an answer to my question(s).
FAQ 1:
I currently have a playlist set up and it is running random. Can I get the next song that will be played; how is that stored in Icecast?
FAQ 2:
I have the song title and artist being displayed on my webpage(Mambo), but was wondering if there was any information on song legth or artist being sent to Icecast from Ices0?
FAQ 3:
Is there any documentation on what information is being passed from Ices to Icecast so I can possibly add some more to my web page?

1: This information isn't stored in anyway. The information is in the stream it self (ICY-proto), or by telling Icecast what song (http-proto), but only for the current song.
2. You need to open the file and read the header that contains this info.

Could you please post the code you used on your mambo-site? I`ve been trying different scripts I have found around on the web for this, but I cant`t get none of them to work. Perhaps yours are easy to implement, since I`m using joomla/mambo.. |
