|
|
Hello,
I'd like to compile the ezstream project on Windows XP with Visual Studio 6.0.
However, after including the required libraries (libshout, ogg_static, vorbis_static) and editing the #include directories, there are multiple compile errors regarding the types.h header-file within the GNU C Library(glibc\posix\sys): I think that this types.h is written for Unix/Linux-OS and cannot be compiled under Windows.
For example, the first uncompilable line of code in types.h:
Code: |
typedef __u_char u_char; |
is a syntax error, but I don't think that changing every wrong typedef inside types.h will help, so here is my question:
Is there a types.h available that compiles under windows? Or do I need to change anything else to compile the ezstream-project under windows?
My versions of the source-codes:
ezstream-0.2.1
libshout-2.1
libvorbis-1.1.2
libogg-1.1.1
libxml2-2.6.22
Thanks. |

Why are you using a glibc installation on windows and not the VS includes/libs provided?

@karlH:
thanks for the reminder. It worked for the types.h problem, but I'm still getting errors with other files. The Include-files stored inside the visual studio include directory don't have the same names as required in the project and I don't now which of them are suited for simple renaming.
Is there anything I have to do before opening the provided ezstream.dsp workspace file inside visual studio to make it compile? |
