Icecast Streaming Media Server

I'm running Ice Cast 2.3.1 on Windows 2003, with SAM 3 Broadcaster as the Source client. Currently I've left the default configuration to allow for 2 sources, however I've encountered the following results.

1.) If I attempt to swap sources, (log source 1 off, login source 2), all listener clients disconnect.

2.) If I attempt to login 2 sources, the 2nd Source gets Error Disconnected, until Source 1 disconnects.

Is there something perhaps I'm missing?

1) disconnection of listeners is such a case is valid, read up on the use of fallback-mount and override if you want an alternative.

2) a source client connecting with a mountpoint name that is already in use will be rejected.

Your situation isn't fully clear but you can fallback to a stream which is just a dead air stream, then override when the next source connects.

Thanks! That worked beautifully.. I just made a mp3 of dead air and set the fallback.
