Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hi all,

I have Icecast 2.3.1 installed on FreeBSD machine, with one server listening to multiple sources(9).

When the number of listeners increases (around 1300 users), the server starts losing the connections with the sources.

But not all of them at the same time, and after few seconds it gets them back. There is no bandwidth problems, and the max_listeners is configured to 10000.

The errors in log files don't explain too much:

Hi, I don't have an answer for you but I got 4 icecast server running on FreeBSD and the same problem occurs regulary. I got 1 icecast server running on CentOS on the same network and it rarely disconnect. I guess it is a FreeBSD issue, but cannot confirm.
