Hello,
We have a requirement where 2 or more publishers need to publish to a single mount point from their client publishing machines geo-graphically seperated.
We are delivering a LIVE commentory service which needs 2 or more commentators geo-graphically located in different countries and they simultaneously talk to the same port as all the listeners are listening to the same port. How can we achieve this with Icecast2 server?
/stream1.mp3 - published by commentator1
/stream2.mp3 - published by commentator2
/commentory.mp3 - all the users are connected to this dummy stream
I was able to move listeners from stream1.mp3, stream2.mp3 to commentory.mp3 but I couldn't hear published content of stream1.mp3, stream2.mp3 into commentory.mp3
I also tried to connect 2 commentators directly into commentory.mp3 but that failed as well.
We are actually trying to build conference bridge kind of service and file output needs to be published to the shoutcast stream.
If this can be achieved via. any other application, we can use that.
Appreciate your reply. thanks
