Hi all,
I installed ices2 (2.0.1-4) on a fresh Ubuntu 6.10 (only VMware server is runing on it) using the .deb file from ubuntu universe. My soundcard is:
# asoundconf list
Names of available sound cards:
I82801DBICH4
But ices2 complains:
[2007-01-21 18:52:12] EROR input-alsa/alsa_open_module Failed to open audio device hw:0,0: No such device
[2007-01-21 18:52:12] EROR input/input_loop Couldn't initialise input module "alsa"
Recording audio with
arecord -f cd -D hw:0,0 test2.wav
works fine...
Any ideas on whats wrong?
Thanks,
Hering |

$ arecord -f dat -r 48000 -D hw:0,0 test.wav
Recording WAVE 'test2.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 48000 Hz, Stereo
Aborted by signal Interrupt...
Seems to be working...
Woult arecord -l or -L be any helpful?
Thanks,
Jakub |

Thanks a lot for your help anyway!
