|
|
Hi,
I've seen that the kh branch allows specific shoutcast source mountpoint for each port, but I'd like to have that done for listeners too.
The way I see that is much more like a port-specific alias. Maybe using
Code: |
<alias source="/" port="xx" dest="/blabla"> |
or (or both, but this could lead to complex setups maybe ) directly in the <listen-socket>node, let's say something like :
Code: |
<listen-socket>
<port>8000</port>
<bind-address>127.0.0.1</bind-address>
<default-mount>/foo</default-mount>
</listen-socket>
|
The goal for this could be to have a given stream available at the root or any chosen URL on any port, so as to relay it or get it using stupid client, like say... shoutcast itself!
Thanks again for your work by the way! |

you can specify a port when using alias, as you indicated, it can be used if shoutcast is relaying a stream.

Nice !
I haven't found it in the doc though, but I could have browsed the source, and as I just did: bind-address works too here, for the record. Maybe this could be written in the FAQ or updated in the docs, or did I miss it somewhere ?
[edit]Silly me, was in the example configuration file [/edit] |
