Hi folks!
Can I encode in server side (aka with icecast?)?
I can't force encode will be in client-side, so I need reencode when the stream arrives to server-side.
An example:
Client with ices, streaming at 128 Kb to Icecast, but Icecast stream must be 64 Kb.
I've been reading the documentation, and bitrate tags only inform about bitrate, doesn't encode.
Any idea?
Thx all!
PD.- Sorry for my poor english, i'm spanish ;D |

you are correct to say that icecast doesn't do encoding, but there is nothing to stop you from running something like streamtranscoder on the same server.
