Hi folks,

Is it possible to place a PHP file in the web folder for icecast and have icecast execute the php interpreter, or do I need a full Apache web server setup in order to run php scripts for interacting with icecast and/or ices? Ideally I would like to have something like this work:

http://www.yourURL.com:8000/somescript.php

I would prefer not to set up an additional web server if icecast already provides some http server capabilities. Any ideas if this is feasible?

nope, not doable, and we have no intention of adding a PHP interpreter to icecast.

Out of curiousity what kind of interaction with php and icecast2 are you looking for?
If your looking for a stats parser etc...
