if you already have an icecast source client then you can start another connection up on a different mountpoint.

ok could you pls explain in more details, where do i create this?

is it part of the config file?

what settings do i need?

you configure your source client, that is the app that starts the connection. Whether you have mount specific settings in icecast is up to you.

very technical, did i understand? no

could you not be more clear in explaining. so i understand the the that i have to do something in oddcast, but what?

i did create another encoder but it wont connect.

do i use the same password as the first encoder?

you use the same password if you have configured icecast with only the global source-password setting. What you cannot reuse is the same mountpoint. Check your error log, if there is a failure then always checked your error log first, you'll be surprised how often the reason is shown in there.

could u give the code i need to use,

what do i add to the icecast server config file.

i created a second one in oddcast it wont connect.

It's right there in the log you posted, why doesn't the second stream connect, as it says

[2006-04-18 16:15:41] WARN connection/connection.c Mountpoint /stream.ogg in use

so what you have done is started the second connection with exactly the same mountpoint as the first. Use a different mountpoint for the second connection. Maybe it would be easier to understand if you think of the mountpoints relating to bandwidth eg

stream 1 /dialup.ogg
stream 2 /broadband.ogg

need to know where to change source limit.
