After several days of uninterupted operation (about 4 or 5 days I believe), ices-0.4 starts to return this error countless times:
"Could not open cuefile [/tmp/ices.cue] for writing, cuefile not updated"
The file is fine, but it seems like ices forgets to close it on a previous occation or something like that. After a restart, ices operates fine for another several days. I'm not sure if this is related to a bad mp3 file or the perl module not returning a new song on rare occation. However, my perl module and this issue seem unrelated since it continues to broadcast new songs even while the error is occuring, but just doesn't write it to the cue file.
This is operating on fedora core 4 and I compiled it from source with perl, lame and faad options. |
