if you have a shell account (telnet/ssh) you may be able to detach and leave running jobs, however make sure you are not violating terms of service with the isp by running servers with your shell account. Streaming media will eat up bandwidth very fast - and should attract NOC attention very quickly!
If it's an ftp web hosting account (with php/mysql,etc) but no shell acccount, then you would definately be violating terms of service of your provider. |
