| No, icecast is tcp based. |

Not sure but I believe Real Servers RTSP format is UDP streaming...
UDP is unreliable transport and not commonly used in today in media streaming... |

| I'm using a poor network here and I just can't stablish a stable connection via TCP/IP and that's the reason why Im using UDP. The problem is that UDP programs like messengers and stuff aren't made for media streaming. Nobody knows a good one for that? One I could configurate bandwidth, quality and stuff like that? |
