|
|
I'd like to archive my stream at a higher quality than I want to supply to the icecast server, but when I create an instance with an invalid IP address it shuts down that instance completely after it fails to connect.
Ideally ices would be smart enough so if no icecast server information is supplied at all, but a <savefile> tag is, it would log to disk and not attempt to connect to anything.
Is there another way to do it?
Thanks,

Look at my ices2 branch work on my website, the samples will show how to do a save file without an icecast connection.
