| Hmm, this is an Icecast Server forum. It supports NSV encoding and stuff - not Windows Media player (or at least I dont think it does!). So you might want to try something like Windows Media encoder for that - but not sure. Thanks |

Just to be clear, icecast does not really support NSV, it supports Ogg and a passthrough format which can handle mp3/aac and NSV. WM[A/V] is different and requires special processing.

| Using SimpleCast as streaming software, you can play whatever music with Windows Media Player and grab it from your soundcard into SimpleCast which will stream it forward to server... |
