don't panic
My understanding is that the web server had to be moved and is waiting on some new equipment, I hear next week. The 16b code is still the latest and I'm just collecting bits for a kh17 release. You should be able to acccess the svn code http://svn.xiph.org/icecast/branches/kh/icecast
If I get to do a kh17 before the site comes up then I'll upload the tar to svn and post a link here

icecast 2.3-kh3 is up now. Main changes are source client auth via url and updates to relay handling including an updated redirection mechanism, slaves can request that the master redirects new listeners to the slave.

kh4 is up now, it incorporates a few fixes (possible memory/fd leaks). I've added to the admin pages, a log file display (last N lines as some people have very large logs).

You can still email me at the usual address.

I've uploaded kh8 (tarball and win32 build) on http://www.icecast.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
The main thing that has changed is the ability for using multiple auth handlers, at least 1 handler per authentication. For url auth you can define the handlers option to increase that. Essentially the auth subsystem isn't serialized over the whole server now. A few other non-auth related fixes have also been merged.

Do you still use a public SVN repos?
http://svn.xiph.org/icecast/branches/kh/icecast tells me :
Révision de la dernière modification : 11721
Date de la dernière modification: 2006-07-30 03:12:07 +0200 (dim, 30 jui 2006)
(Last modification info from svn info, French version )
As you released kh9 later, and the last logs tells about you bumping kh7, I guess you're not using this one anymore, or that it's not updated..
I'm really interested in Icecast development, so having a svn repository to sync to would be of some help, and as your branch seems to be the only active one..
By the way, is there any doc on why this branch is, and any timeline or roadmap for the entire project? Is the KH mainly a dev/unstable branch for the main one? Is there any odds to have the features it adds merged to the main project soon? Is it worth just go on using your branch and consider it as stable? |

I need to do a sync up with svn, I lost connectivity for a while so checkins were not being done. With kh9 (and some win32 build issues sorted out) I should be able to get sync up working soon enough.
The branch is really to see how certain features/mechanisms work out before being merged. I have merged some things into trunk already but not all that I want to do. It's purpose is really for development and is generally considered very stable.

ok, kh12 is up now. Main points are, fix for possible crash with an incoming shoutcast source client and relays now handling 302 redirection.

kh15 is up, a race was introduced in kh14 due to some locking changes, which could be triggered if several streams started up at the same time.
