Icecast Streaming Media Server

I recently got my web host to install icecast.

Can you tell me how this can work with on demand.

I'm trying to make use of this php script. But it requires the files to be places in the web/audio directory above the icecast installation.

So to make this work do I need to make a folder on my ftp space which the host needs to map to the directory above the icecast installation (in essence everyones mp3's, ogg's would end up there)?

Is this correct.. Or is there another way entirely. ?
