|
|
Hello,
I connected Ices2 to Icecast (on Ubuntu Dapper Drake) and raised the proper faders using alsamixer. But I can only hear the left channel, te right channel is silent.
When connecting a headphone to the line out and routing the input signal to the line out, I can hear both channels, so the analog section and the mixer setting should be fine...
Any hints on where to look next???
Thanks,
hering
My config.xml looks like this:
<input>
<module>alsa</module>
<param name="rate">44100</param>
<param name="channels">2</param>
<param name="device">hw:0,0</param>
</input>
<instance>
<hostname>localhost</hostname>
<port>8000</port>
<password>hackme</password>
<mount>/oe1.ogg</mount>
<yp>1</yp>
<encode>
<samplerate>44100</samplerate>
<channels>2</channels>
<quality>6</quality>
</encode>
</instance> |

Ok, I tried arecord as recommended by karlH in other postings, and have the same issue there: Only the left channel can be heard...
So, as it seems, its not an IceS2 configuration problem.
So, I'have a closer look at ALSA... But still, if anybody has some hints on how to proceed in finding the error, I am very much looking forward to it!
Cheers,
Hering |
