Hi,
when I add the mount-specific settings dump-file, on-connect and on-disconnect to an already existing mountpoint and restart the Icecast server with "kill -HUP pid" the new settings seem not to work. The dumpfile is not created when the mountpoint is accessed by a source client and the scripts associated with on-connect and on-disconnect are not triggered.
I think I've seen that the dumpfile is mentioned in the debug log but it is not created.
It is annoying that all listeners are disconnected when you must stop and restart the Icecast server completely only to change those settings. Is there any trick to avoid this? Thanks for any idea.
We use these features of Icecast to record our live shows for replay and to trigger the the replay with Ices at the end of other live shows.

From my observations of running the icecast server..
you can force the reload of the xml files (HUP), if the the mount is active it will not update any configuration of the mount. |
