Hi !
While everyone wants to have the shoutcast metadata relayed, I don't. So I set up a relay, specifying :

| <relay-shoutcast-metadata>0</relay-shoutcast-metadata> |
but for a reason, the stream title is still updated by the shoutcast server, and icecast2 does gives it to me.
I really want my relay to set a title such as "static title for the relay" and to stick to it... Is there any way to do so, but the obvious one which seems not to work for any reason ?

Hmmm I'm an ass, it's an icecast on the other side... Shoutcast testing was my previous configuration. This would quite explain the fact that my disabling doesn't work here.
Though, can I disable totally the stream title ? 
This may be related to what is told in here though... |

You can disable the metadata requests either by the tags you mentioned to prevent metadata being sent by shoutcast (some servers actually require the metadata setting or they send a 404 response) or use the mount option <mp3-metadata-interval>0</mp3-metadata-interval> to stop your listeners from getting those updates.
The http-style info cannot be overridden by icecast currently.
