Hi ...
i have some problems and i hope writeing here, that someone will help me.
i want to stream the videos from my computer from the linux server, and the live streming i want to do it from a windows workstation.
can someone tell me, what i need, and how everything works ?

You have two options :
NullSoft Video format which supports VP3 and VP6 video codecs
( The NSV format stations are currently not listed on the Icecast station directory. )
Theora video
( Theora video stations are currently not listed on the Icecast station directory. )
You can stream Live NSV video using NSVcap, more information can be found here www.scvi.net/liveenc.htm
Configuring the Icecast server for NSV : www.scvi.net/nsvice.htm
I dont think there is mature software for Theora live streaming that is available for the Windows platform. _________________ Using NSV with Icecast : www.scvi.net/nsvice.htm

yes... i'm using this version now ... i use the the nvstools to stream from windows and linux ( in linux there are not working very well ) and shoutcast server in linux ...
i'll try this night to change shoutcast with icecast ...
About nsv files i don't like them because i can't stream on windows media player, real player , or other clients... only in winamp and a website witch need to install aol activ x ...
to be exacly my online tv is : http://tv.taiba.ro
so ... i want to try icecast with ogg files ... and a webpage like www.subhi.ro/test.html
can anyone help me ? maybe someone will take my yahoo id so can explayn better ? |
