Hello, I was trying to get icecast to work according to this howto:
http://www.pcmech.com/show/os/917/9/
for Dapper Drake Ubuntu Linux

However when I tried to "sudo icecast2 -c ~/.icecast2_config.xml"

I get:

Quote:

I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/home/frenris/.icecast2_config.xml"
FATAL: error parsing config file (/home/frenris/.icecast2_config.xml)
XML config parsing error

What could I have done wrong? My icecast config file reads thus:
Code:

<!-- This config file contains a minimal set of configurable parameters,
     and mostly just contains the things you need to change.  We created
     this for those who got scared away from the rather large and heavily
     commented icecast.xml.dist file. -->
<icecast>

    </logging>
</icecast>

Umm does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm just trying to set up my comp so I can listen to my music collection from any computer.

Thanks in advance.
