|
|
I have an icecast server that is relaying two streams, and I need to be able to schedule these streams to start or stop. The streams run independently, so I don't need to stop *all* streams, just one or the other at a given time. I can handle the scheduling myself, but I need a way to be able to disable one relay while leaving the other active, and I need to be able to do it on-the-fly.
Can it be done? |

| Would it be possible to maybe require a password at certain times when I don't want any users connected? It would be great if I could boot any active listeners and then require a password. Can it be done without stopping the icecast service and without affecting the other relay? |

For future reference...
In the IRC chatroom, dm8tbr suggested I use a script to rewrite my config and then send a HUP to the process. It works perfectly!
Thanks a bunch! |
