Icecast Streaming Media Server

I want to disable logging of my icecast 2.2.0 server completely, I have it running fine but my error log keeps climbing to 2+ gb but there are no problems with the server. I have it set to level 4 but its still grows fast, is there anyway to disable logging completely?

lower the logging level? level 4 is the most verbose logging you can get...

There's no way to disable logging completely, but you've configured it to use the most verbose logging it has. Try setting logging to level 1 (which will only log serious errors).

I wouldn't recommend setting it to log to /dev/null, that might confuse icecast in some situations (I don't think we've ever tested it)

well thanks for telling me about that, i asked this same question before but the person that replied told me that level 4 was the lowest setting
