What does "Uncomment this if you want directory listings -->" in the Configure file mean?
Also I just run Winamp when Icast is runing or another program like Virtual DJ, and it braodcasts that right? I know that Virtual DJ has a streamer built in but I can't get it to work.
Thanks ahead,
Andrew |

icecast needs to know which servers to use if you want any public streams to appear on the directory listings eg dir.xiph.org
Winamp itself won't broadcast, you need a plugin like oddcast to broadcast to icecast. I can't comment on virtual DJ but it sounds like it should be suitable. If there are problems don't forget to check the icecast error log.
