Icecast Streaming Media Server

can someone please point me to a good how-to on setting up ices0 > shoutcast?

I've got ices>icecast going just fine. I migrated from sc_trans > sc_serv (shoutcast) to ices>icecast as sc_trans didn't handle mp3 tags well.

Now, everything works but my traffic went to zero not being listed in the shoutcast directory, so I guess my only option is to do it this way.

If there is suddenly a way to get shoutcast to list the stream, that would be another solution that would work for me.

you should find that icy is documented but I can't say how well it works as I don't use it.
