hi all

i am new 2 icecast. i set it up yeasterday. I am using traktor dj studio 2.6.i can mix tracks live. when i go 2 the listener url the track names come up fine and when i mix it mixes accordingly-which suggests that all info is gettin thru BUT there is NO SOUND!

can anyone help pls!!

icecast doesn't change the audio content, so if there is data getting through (eg silence) to the player then the issue is down to the source client.

you need to have an output from the mixer (recording output if you have one) this needs to go into the input used for recording on the scratch amp.

If you can record a mix you can stream.

Check the vu meters at the top of the screen to the left of the word record as you should have some thing showing here.

Had me baffled for a bit too Wink

RTFM to check the other settings for volume maximising etc
