Without trying it out by myself, how many livesource moutpoints ICEcast can handle, what is the max number I can configure?

There's no internal limit set by icecast but each new source will be a new thread and take a little more processing. Our test managed 1400 sources from 1 icecast but the problem there was bandwidth limits not processing.

Ok thanks, Karl. I maybe need 16 or max. 24 MPs to relay them by other servers, so no question of bandwidth limit.
I thought to read somewhere else that the max. number of MP is limited to 8, then I have to open a new ICEcast PID.
