|
|
Ok,
I have 3 streams.
2 MP3 and 1 Ogg.
when the metadata on the ogg stream is updated it seems to cause the client to drop. however the mp3 streams run fine. is there any way to tell shoutcast to not update the metadata on one stream? |

To help you, please explain for problem in detail because I can't follow how you broadcast a OGG stream via a SHOUTcast Server.

ok
Im useing Icecast v2.
I have 3 mountpoints at port 8000.
/listen = mp3 stream
/listen2 = mp3 stream
/listen3.ogg = ogg stream
The source is winamp with oddsock.
All 3 streams work. updateing metadata causes the ogg stream to drop.
I will send you a private message where you can look at things. but I'm not home at the moment so replays may be slow. |

which clients are you referring to? which apps have problems because those are the apps that need to be fixed.

Here my results:
I've listened to your live3.ogg with Winamp (v5.24).
The meta data for current song is missing, only " - FTFM Radio!" is shown.
Changing between two songs the stream seem to stutter also disconnect and pre-buffer again, after few sconds the next song runs fine again.
