Hello all,
I just wonder how many listeners Icecast support at the same time. I wish to broadcast/unicast a channel for each user, is that possibly with Icecast at all? When a listener launch the service, he or she would add a unique playlist that only that specific user can listen to, no one else. Where is the limit if there is such a one, bandwidth or server performance?

The limit will probably always be bandwidth, but you seem to be talking about one listener per stream which isn't what icecast tends to be used for.

OK, as I figured then. Are there any other streaming servers out there built that way - support one stream for each user?
