Icecast Streaming Media Server

Sorry for my poor english ...

Its my first post. I am trying solve this problem night and day. I am migrating from Windows XP to Mandrake Linux 10 and the last problem to solve is the streaming of my radio (www.administerioangra.com.br).

I am using Icecast plus Ices. They are running and ok, and when I connect at local machine (using amarok, http://pc06:8000/example1.ogg), its working ok, but when I try using another machine in my network (windows xp, winamp, http://pc06:8000/example1.ogg) show a message 'connected', but not play and not sound.

My source is line-input. All ports is openned (firewall), and I put squid down. I changed host name (from localhost to pc06).

What can I do now ?

It sounds like the connection part is working just fine, you need to check whether winamp is setup correctly, ie make sure it has the ogg vorbis codec for the player (ie. it's not in the lite version).

.... oh, yes. I was using a lite version of winamp. Now, i am using a full version and the probllem was resolved.
