Icecast Streaming Media Server

The topic pretty much sums it up. The reason I'm writing for help here, is because I'm unable to connect to it with winamp (using shoutcast dsp plugin), or MuSE.

I have a sample of my conf file here if you want to take a look: http://raskull.com/misc/icecast.xml

I've tried connecting to the server hostname (metal.raskull.com), and the IP as well (216.194.67.234) with no luck. I'm using port 8000, and the correct password. I've tried using /stream and /stream.m3u .mp3 for the mount point.

Any ideas? Am I missing something in my conf?

The url is forbidden. Be aware that it may not be an issue with icecast, if you have NAT or other firewalls in place then you may not be able to establish any connection to icecast, also note that shoutcast style source connections use 2 ports, port N and port N+1

Ah sorry about that.. no, that file has nothing to do with my actual icecast server, that was just a sample of my cfg for troubleshooting purposes.. Anyway, I fixed the permissions on that sample file so you can view it now.

As I said shoutcast style source connections use 2 ports, the xml only has 1 port configured.
