Hello

I run an icecast2 Server under "Windows Server 2003" OS, to stream audio.
There are 2 Audio Streams, that run on it. Now the third should be a video stream. But I can't find a good way to stream videos on an Windows icecast.
It would be perfect, when the stream will be a WMV9. And when ist possible, a LiveTranscoding with adding of a logo where perfect, too. Because a WMV9 Stream can better be implementet in a WebPlayer. Beforehand thank you.

Regards

WMV needs special handling which we are unable to support.

Ogg Theora is handled and any format where listeners can start at any point in the stream could be used, this includes nsv. Whether others like mpeg could work as well I don't know.

I hate to revive a dead topic but it is relevant to what I seek.

Has anyone found any documentation on setting up Theora on a win32 platform? I can't seem to find any documentation on it.

The easiest method for streaming encoded theora movies is to use ezstream : http://www.icecast.org/ezstream.php
