I am attempting to cross-compile the icecast server using buildroot for use on the gumstix boards. All prerequisites have been installed into the toolchain:libxml2, libxslt, libogg, libvorbis. When I run configure, I can specify the xslt config by stating --with-xslt-confg = <path>/xsltConfig.sh. I believe my problem is because there is no similar flag for xml2. I receive the following output when I go to install the the package:

I am not sure how else to link in xml2. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should have a xml2-config for cross compiling, failing that you can set the usual variables to pass LIBS, CFLAGS etc

The xml2Config.sh file is in my staging_dir/usr/lib. It is not finding it in that location, even though that dir is on the path.

I guess I will see about passing the xml2Config.sh in with the CFLAGS and LIBS. There is also a config in staging_dir/usr/lib/pkgconfig. I would have expected the path or the pkgconfig to be able to locate what is needed. |
