|
|
2.3.1 was released 2 years ago. As i see, karlH develops himself branch. Will it be merged into main tree?
When where may be next icecast release?
I want to add some functionality into icecast (and want see it in next release, if possible) and want know, which version I can use. |

I've been merging various patches into the trunk in the last few weeks so feel free to try out the trunk code. Not all the items in -kh are being merged as some are not complete but most of them are done now. You can get that from trunk or gets snapshots from http://people.xiph.org/~brendan/snapshots/icecast/
As to when the next release is I don't know for sure, the win32 build is a problem for me to verify in many cases. There are no major updates to do on the general code but I'm thinking of merging the multiple shoutcast source client handling. So trunk is a good starting point if you want to try something out.

oddsock use to deal with win32 issues but he has little time currently, while I can deal (read swear) at windows development, I only have a win98 kicking around, which is of little use in certain cases like the windows service issue you raised. I could do with a remote terminal access to test those things.
