Hi,
I'm new to video streaming, and already have to make use of it. That's good, because I'll learn more about it
The thing is, I need to create a webpage with some video embeded in it. For the video, I was thinking about an applet (cortado) to display ogg content. I've tried it with a single local file, and I really liked it.
No the complicated part ... I need it to receive a stream of videos. Those videos will be some publicity movies, so I want an uninterrupted stream of several videos being thrown through the network.
I came across vlc that crashes steaming ogg/theora/vorbis, and then a little more research I came across icecast.
I would like to ask if icecast can stream several videos, like a playlist of videos, and looping them all. I would like to play video1, video2, ... videon and then back to video1 ...
All this stream, codecs, encapsulation, windows and linux software, converters and forwarders and ... ARGH!!!! My head is hurting!
