Hello,

I have tried for hours .. but it still doesn't work?

I did not change the configiration of icecast2..

So i have this:

Code:
<icecast>
    <limits>
        <clients>100</clients>
        <sources>2</sources>
        <threadpool>5</threadpool>
        <queue-size>524288</queue-size>
        <client-timeout>30</client-timeout>
        <header-timeout>15</header-timeout>
        <source-timeout>10</source-timeout>
        <!-- If enabled, this will provide a burst of data when a client
             first connects, thereby significantly reducing the startup
             time for listeners that do substantial buffering. However,
             it also significantly increases latency between the source
             client and listening client.  For low-latency setups, you
             might want to disable this. -->
        <burst-on-connect>1</burst-on-connect>
        <!-- same as burst-on-connect, but this allows for being more
             specific on how much to burst. Most people won't need to
             change from the default 64k. Applies to all mountpoints  -->
        <burst-size>65535</burst-size>
    </limits>

</icecast>

...

And the settings of my traktor 3:

Code:
proxy settings - use direct connection
proxy address - blank, port - 8001
address - localhost, port - 8000
mount path - /live
password - hackme
format - ogg 11025 hz 96k
stream url - blank
stream name - teststream
stream description - teststream
stream genre - techno

So i tried to listen with winamp:

with the follow url:

http://localhost:8000/
http://localhost:8000/live
http://localhost:8000/live.m3u

but noting works! Sad

Who can help me? Rolling Eyes

You have configured this from an example?

It looks like you've set up some authentication.
But do you also have authentication servers running on the place it's pointing too?

I suppose you should look at the "simple" example file first and try to get that working before adding the more advanced options.

Also, I assume you're using windows, did you add exceptions to the firewall?

Before starting your source client, check that you can access to the status page with your browser. That will test that at least the connection can even be attempted. After that, check your error log or even your access log, those should show information about connecting clients even if they fail.
